You’re the Greatest Gift I Ever Had, Tata :)

Good fathers are hard to find. If you have it, then you’re lucky. Don’t waste time for being with him. Everyday is a treasure to be with our own family. Cherish each moments we spent with them because time will come that it will be only memories that we will miss.
Father’s day is a special day for our hardworking father. It happens once a year only so it must be special and unforgettable. It’s time to say all we want. We don’t need expensive gifts to give for them because I know that even though it’s a small way of giving gifts, it really means a lot to them. I feel it to every parent.

Now, I will share some information about my father. He is Andie “Egoy” Abad. A driver and a good father to his five children, that’s him. I will never forget every time he accompany and fetch us in our school. I remembered when it was my 4th or 5th birthday, he gave me a present of Winnie-the-pooh pillow and until now its with my bed. I also remembered when I am a kid; he carried me on his nape even if I’m heavy. Even though I am angry and annoyed sometimes to him, I really still love him.
This father’s day, I will give him a gift. Not an expensive one but just a letter with full of feelings from my heart, simple but meaningful letter. I will greet him then kiss. Honestly, I can’t say ‘I love you’ to him because I’m shy. But I will just edit a picture of him and I will say ‘We love you’. I hope that really meant for him. Of course, I think it’s special to him.
When our father or mother gets old, we must take care of them like they did when we’re little. Give food to them like they were always doing when we couldn’t eat by ourselves. Take them to bath like they used to do when we’re little child and sometimes we didn’t want to take a bath. If they get old, we must not get annoyed and ignored them. For losing their memories and not hearing, we must be considerable and lead them in every activity they make.

While I’m writing this blog, I really cried hard. I felt bad for myself before for not cherishing the moments we had. It helps me to realize more things. I know he will say “Thank you, anak” but I must be the one to say it to him. The greatest thing I ever had is you, Tata. Happy Father’s day and thank you for all that you’ve done for us.
